Diverse daily events exist in which an appraiser may be necessary to solve a problem.
In every accident there exists a perpetrator and a victim. In the case of a car accident, the damages of the victim are taken care of by their insurance company, which are then later passed to the insuring company of the perpetrator (agreements CIDE, ASCIDE, etc...).
If you are the victim then, in most of the cases you won't have problems repairing your damages, but what happens when you are the perpetrator? You have two options:
- If you have full coverage, including damages to your goods (all risk) there is no problem, you report it to your company and the problem is solved.
- When you you yourself are not covered is when your problems begin. You must leave your car with a mechanic and trust the mechanics good faith and professionalism so that the repair invoice fairly reflects the damages that you have.

The situation described in #2 above, as highlighted in the OCUs article (included in the news section) is not always the case. It is at this point where we can help you. Make sure that the time spent in the repair is accurate, that all the replaced materials are being replaced because it is strictly necessary, and, for example, that a small negligence on the steering wheel has the cost that it must have.
